Courses have been been released for the fourth annual STEM Educators’ Camp hosted by the Maine School of Science and Mathematics. To view nearly 30 course offerings, please visit our website. Presenters from across the country (and even Canada) share their resources, wisdom, and best practices with fellow teachers to improve STEM education in the classroom.
This week-long professional development opportunity is for science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) educators who currently work with students in grades 3-12. The educators’ camp will take place August 2 – August 7, 2015.
Educators that join will have the opportunity to take three week-long immersive courses in selected S.T.E.M fields. In addition, there is ample time for educators to meet, debrief, plan and collaborate, as well as explore northern Maine. Our hope is to encourage Maine S.T.E.M educators to share their passions and talents with one another to form a community vested in improving student learning in S.T.E.M topics across Maine.
The Educators’ Camp is $100 for Maine residents and $300 for out-of-state residents. To register, please complete the online registration form.
