DATA LITERACY TEACHERS’ COLLABORATIVE — MIDDLE & HS

Improve how your students use data & graphs as evidence while learning  content.

Sessions focus on science but are open to any educator interested in improving students’ data literacy skills

• Review a framework for scaffolding data and graphing literacy
• Identify sources of classroom-ready datasets and curriculum resources

  • Share strategies for building data literacy in a science context
  • Explore technology solutions to graphing and interpreting data
    • Plan with colleagues how to integrate data into classroom
