Advanced Elementary Math Methods

EDU 524:  ADVANCED MATH METHODS (elementary)

At University College in Rockland this summer!  Flyer attached—second page of flyer has registration information.
Participants will increase their:

• content knowledge in the mathematics they teach;

• understanding of how children learn mathematics;

• understanding of themselves as mathematicians;

• confidence as math teachers;

• familiarity with the variety of math resources and materials available;

• knowledge of the Common Core math standards and mathematical practices and the current research;

• ability to create a constructivist mathematics curriculum.
