Proficiency Leadership Agenda (October 21)

Hi all,

Tomorrow we will consolidate some of our work in preparation for Wednesday’s early release where we will share our work on the standards and rubrics for our Guiding Principles, or cross curricular standards, with the entire staff.

I apologize for getting this out so late but I have been away and today I am finally getting my head back into school mode.

We will meet at 8:15 in the high school conference room and the agenda will be as follows:

8:15-8:30 Check in
8:30-9:30 Assessment validation.
Please bring an assessment to use that can be score using at least one of the rubrics for the guiding principles.  If you have shared one with me before the last meeting and wish to use that, I will post it here.  Otherwise send me a digital copy and I will post or bring enough hard copies to share with 5 others.

We will break into groups of 4-5 and run through the protocol and validation we practiced last meeting.  W will stick to the time of about an hour, so review the protocol and validation questions again.

Protocol  Tool3_AssessmentValidationProtocol

9:30-10:15 Discussion of pros and cons of software demonstrations.

10:15-11:15 Develop and review the work to be done with full staff starting this Wednesday.

Assessments

It is unlikely we will have any snacks, though I will try to pick up some before our meeting.  Please bring anything you might want to sustain yourself.

Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Shawn
