October 10 In-service Schedule

Our October 10 in-service day plans will focus on a variety of initiatives that are taking place in our district.  Boothbay Region Elementary School will continue their professional development in Restorative Practice that day. Georgetown teachers will be attending the ACTEM conference focusing on technology.

The staff members at Boothbay Region High School, Edgecomb and Southport will be given time to work on developing their growth plans in IObservation in the morning. For the Edgecomb and Southport staff, the remainder of the day will provide time to continue to input and/or update your curriculum using our Atlas software in the afternoon.

Boothbay Region High School staff will continue their work with NEASC.

For staff at the Boothbay Schools, refreshments will be provided at 7:30 in the BRES lobby. Elementary staff will start lunch at 11:45, all other staff may start lunch at 12:00 pm. Edgecomb staff will have their lunch brought up to the Edgecomb campus and Southport staff will support their local economy and lunch will be provided for them from the Southport store.

For those of you working on growth plans, your building Principals will put you into groups to begin this work. Teachers who have done this work suggested that we structure this process accordingly.
