2014 School Report Cards

The State Report Cards will be released to the public tomorrow announcing the progress that all Maine schools have made in improving student achievement over the past year.

The Elementary School Report Cards measure the number of students who scored proficient or above in math and reading, the number of students who demonstrated growth in math and reading as well as the number of students who scored in the bottom 25% last year who demonstrated growth towards proficiency.  The High School Report Cards measure proficiency in math and reading, the number of students who demonstrated progress in math and reading, the graduation rate and the required 95% participation rate in state tests.

I am attaching the report cards for our schools in AOS 98.  Over the next few weeks the Administrators will be looking at the data closely to determine what next steps will be taken to continue to move ours students towards proficiency.  I would like to take the opportunity to thank the staff who worked so hard with our students over the past year to help them grow academically, and a special congratulations to those schools who increased student achievement over last year.
